Just had to share. Before this challenge I walked into Publix and shamefully stepped on the scale and I was 173 lbs. the last time I was this heavy was when I was 9 months pregnant with my first son. I couldn’t resist and stepped on the scale on my trip to Publix today and I am now down 5lbs weighing 168lbs. I have a long way to go to reach my goal weight but baby steps and small victories. Feb. ’16 -14 Day Fat Shred Challenge – Daisy Carasquillo (lost 5lbs!)

My challenge results are 5 pounds down although I feel like my stomach looks the same. (Oh..I also only worked out one week 😕) Lol. I’ll have to take pix! This challenge got me in the habit of packing snacks. I don’t leave the house without them now. And I also have learned to portion my food making sure half of my plate is greens. I eat pretty healthy for the most part but I hadn’t been able to lose weight because I was still overeating healthy food. Overeating is overrating no matter what kind of food so thank you Nadia Khalil for this Kickstarter! Jess Moreno

These 2 weeks were a bit challenging, but what made them not that bad is in the guide, it told me what I had to eat through out the day everyday. I didn't have to guess. The workouts kicked my butt, but after completing them i felt great. Now that I've survived these two weeks and have an idea on how to live a healthier lifestyle. I will continue to do these practices to my best to continue to get to my goal. I've lost a total of 7lbs in these two weeks. And I can start seeing a difference on how my clothes are fitting. Very happy with my results.

It has been a real journey but I have to say that with this program and the online motivation, it was easier to stay accountable and self motivated. I have tried to follow a work out program on my own in the past but was lacking the motivation and support that I received with this program to finish it. I loved the work outs and was able to keep up with them and the meal plan. Just like everyone else, there were days that I thought I would not be able to work out but I managed to get past the self doubt and push through the workouts just by seeing other’s actually completing them. I think the online group is what really kept me motivated and focused. My husband was also very helpful with motivating me as well. I managed to make time to work out, even with a busy schedule (work, baby, school). I am so glad that I chose to sign up for this program because after completing it and seeing real results I feel motivated to continue with this lifestyle and I feel great. I am in a better mood. I don’t stress out as much over school and work. I am able to contain myself at work when someone brings sweets! I feel like I have better control of my life. I know it probably sounds corny but I truly feel great! Thank you to all the participants for the motivation and thank you to Nadia for creating the group and sharing the program! – Araceli Theodore June 2015

Thank you thank you thank you !! Thank you for giving me this boost of energy. I'm not where I wanna be yet but this is the most results I've seen in a 2 week period 7lbs total. (Green shorts is after pics) It was a challenge alright. I feel a difference in my posture in strength in energy. There are many foods that are tempting but then the thought of regression and how bad they will make me feel makes me not even want them. I will try my best to keep eating right. I like the advise of flooding my social media with wellness and fitness to help keep me on it. And I downloaded my fitness pal app. I want to eventually be #fitmom. I hope to inspire my husband to be fit with me.-MaryAnn Romero

I really just want to say thank you to Nadia Khalil for putting this challenge together and to all of you for keeping me motivated. This served as the push that I needed to keep this healthy eating going. Here I am drinking a smoothie for breakfast instead of the bacon egg and cheese I would have ordered. As healthy and clean as i tend to live my life, i REALLY needed this challenge to tweak some of my meal habits.. I’ve never snacked so consistantly in between meals. sometimes i wake up feeling like a just did an 8ball of coke bc my energy is on 1000! lol i sleep better. i did not lose weight (thank god!) but my legs and butt are starting to form more muscle so im gonna keep with this style of eating from now on and keep on with weight training. thanks Nadia for being such an inspiration to me and others. you are literally changing lives! thanx for the experience everyone! I’ve always had to struggle when it comes to my weight, food and exercise. Having two babies has not made it any easier.  Definitely has been hard getting the weight off.  I liked participating in the 14 day fat shred challenge because the meals were easy to plan and cook.  I liked all the food so it made it easier to stick to the plan. My biggest down fall is my love for food and my constant snacking.  I am going to continue to stop the snacking in order to stay on track. I did absolutely no extra snacking while on the challenge and I know that made such a difference. The workouts were great and although I did miss the gym it was so convenient to do the workouts at home and the fb group support was great. I would definitely do this again. I wanted to let you know since the challenge I have lost 7lbs. I have been watching what I eat and portioning much better. Its been hard because I moved but I’m trying to continue losing weight and maintain my results especially now that I’m getting married! Stephanye Nunez

I have been working with Nadia for a few months. Being that I was never a “healthy eater” I decided to get help to lead me in the right path. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but I have found her ideas and support even more helpful than what I expected. When I began working with Nadia, I thought it would just be her giving me pointers on what’s healthy. It was more than that. She took the time to find out about my life. She helped me discover my weight loss goals based on what my lifestyle is like. With her guidance, I was about to discover stress relief and better sleeping habits. I even fully quit smoking (at the time I had gone from smoker to “social smoker”). Every time I presented a struggle, she found a way for me to attack that struggle, making me see how simple life is and how we tend to over stress for no reason. Each week, she helped me become stronger and focused on the next step. And I will also add- there’s nothing more motivating than a woman who is in her final weeks of pregnancy standing by you and telling you, “you can do it! Thank you to my amazing coach Nadia!!! My body and mind has totally changed since Nadia has become my coach!! I have been taught so many things; I learned what and what not to eat, new exercises and proper posture, meditation and a healthier way of living. I also attend HIIT classes offered by Nadia that are intense and an amazing total body workout. A lot of people cannot take action on their own and I totally understand because I was in the same situation, but when you have a coach there every step of the way to guide you it becomes easy! On the first day of HIIT I was nervous yet excited because I didn’t know what it was. When I arrived at the first session I thought it would be a breeze but as the workout intensified I was completely blown away. Now fast forward three months later HIIT is still hard but it’s a challenging experience and not so much something to be nervous about. NJHIIT has done nothing but transformed the way I treat my body. I eat better, I feel healthier and I look different.
